Academic stress is a relatively new term. This term follows from the mechanical device of the general stress, but this term (academic stress) be connected to specific surroundings. Experiences of anxiety, stress, loneliness and well-being of parents during the first and second wave of coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia

The aim of the study was to explore the level of well-being, stress, anxiety and loneliness experienced by parents in the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Slovakia (April-May 2020) and compare it with the onset of the second wave in October 2020. In the first research phase, 457 respondents took part; 125 of them participated in the second phase. The online form included measures of well-being (WHO-5), anxiety (GAD-7), loneliness (DJGLS-6) and perceived stress (PSS-10). Internal and external resilience factors differences between elementary and high school students

Resilience and its factors are key determinants of the positive youth development, thus the aim of this paper was to examine the differences in internal factors of resilience (IFR) and perceived external factors of resilience (EFF) according to school type and gender. Research sample consisted of 515 students: 58% of 9th grade elementary school (ES) students (mean age = 14.49) and 42% of 1th grade high school (HS) students (mean age = 15.21). The two-way MANOVA of IFR showed significant differences in self-control and self-esteem in favor of ES students. Girls showed lower levels of self-esteem and self-control. The goal of this research was to explore the attitudes towards the ticking bomb scenario and the influence of the chosen fields of study, gender, faith and the extent of certainty the culprit has about being given the relevant information. This study was undertaken using quantitative methodology and a part of a questionnaire done by WordPublicOpinion.org was included in the collection of data along with an original construction. Validation study of the Neuropsychological Assessment Battery Czech version

Neuropsychological Assessment Battery (NAB) is a complex battery assessing cognitive functions. Its psychometric characteristics have been confirmed. The aim of the study is to introduce the Czech version of NAB and to verify its psychometric characteristics. NAB was administered to 116 healthy volunteers, some of them (N = 40) were tested by the Czech version of Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS) in order to verify the criterion validity.
