AB As a form of support for a family of a child with a disability at an early age, early intervention is key for the life of the family and the child. The state of the individual with a disability is complicated - the more complicated it is, the more it generally requires an interdisciplinary, or rather transdisciplinary approach - the intervention of professionals from many fields (medicine, psychology, special education, social services, and others). This text presents the results of the research dealing with the functioning of early intervention in the Czech Republic and Finland and its comparison, specifically on the topic of interdisciplinary cooperation. The research was conducted in four facilities of early intervention in the Czech Republic and three in Finland using a questionnaire and subsequent qualitative analysis. The text presents results and recommendations. ER
