The presented research project provides information of relationships of personality characteristics and quality of life of patients after stroke, where the indicator of recovery will be the quality of life of the patient. Recent studies have shown that objective health indicators are not critical to the successful recovery after stroke, but psychological variables are important because they relate to the patient's functional state and determine patient's ways of coping with the disease. The aim of the project is to investigate the relationship between personality and quality of life and then to investigate these relationships 72 hours, 6 months and 1 year after stroke.
